Seven shops, one building
Everything you need, already set up.
Pick a shop to see what's in it and what's being taught there. Most machines need a short safety check-out first — that's what the intro classes are for.

Wood Shop
Saws, lathes, and a lot of sawdust.
Our largest shop. SawStop cabinet saws, a helical jointer and planer for milling rough stock, bandsaws, lathes for turning, and CNC. Dust collection throughout. Everything here needs a safety check-out before you use it on your own.

Metal Shop
MIG, TIG, plasma, and a forge.
Multiprocess and dedicated TIG welders, a plasma cutter, metal-cutting saws and welding tables. Bring steel, leave with something that holds together. Welding classes run most months and are the fastest way onto the machines.

Ceramics Studio
Wheels, kilns, and clay by the bag.
Throwing wheels, a slab roller, extruder and pug mill, with staff-fired kilns for bisque and glaze. Handbuilding and wheel classes run continuously, and shelf space is available for members with work in progress.

Glass Studio
Cut, grind, foil, solder, fuse.
A full stained-glass setup — grinders, a ring saw, soldering stations and a fusing kiln. Our most popular beginner class: you leave the first session with a finished panel.

3D Print Lab
FDM and resin, running most of the day.
Filament printers for everyday parts and a resin printer for fine detail, plus wash and cure. Bring a model or design one here. Print time is charged by the hour; filament is sold at the front desk.

Laser Lab
Cut and engrave wood, acrylic, leather.
Laser cutting and engraving for signage, boxes, inlay and one-off parts. The intro class covers material safety — which is the part that matters, since the wrong plastic ruins the machine and the air.

Textiles & Sewing
Machines, embroidery, screen printing.
Domestic and industrial machines, a multi-needle embroidery machine, heat press and screen-printing setup. Quilting, garment making and monogramming classes run throughout the month.
